Diego Panizza Naval Architect / Founder |

Diego was born in Argentina in 1974. While studying and under graduate, Diego served as a draftsman and structural designer at several Argentinean shipyards. Diego was graduated from Universidad Nacional de Quilmes as Naval Architect, and took his first steps in an important shipyard ending up as the head of the Technical Office. In 2010, Diego moved to Valencia, Spain, to join “Juan Yacht Design Office”. In the beginning, at JYD, the most important projects he was part of were: • "Puma Ocean Racing” Volvo Ocean Race 2011/2012 • “Hugo Boss” Open 60 In 2012, he joined the “Artemis Racing” Design Team for the 34th America's Cup. Diego is a passionate sailor, which complements his professional skills and provides a strong background for yacht design. |
